THE ART OF TEACHING
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE
DELIVERED BY NOELLE CONNOLLY
As yogis in the modern era, we are blessed with many teachings and opportunities to learn and grow. Yet the greatest source of learning comes from tuning into the knowledge within ourselves. The foundation for every yoga teacher is a strong practice consisting of deep reflection and understanding. When intimate with our own practice, we teach with confidence and clarity.
Skilled teaching is a form of yoga, where the practice is understanding the needs of each individual with compassion and sensitivity. The role of the teacher is to help students discover a path that is right for them, while supporting the evolution of class as a collective. How to facilitate this process, encourage and inspire the best in each student is the art of teaching.
